At Even Stevens, community is at the heart of everything we do. We use local ingredients, pay homage to local history, and partner with local artists. SLC local, Brett Ferrin, is one of our artist collaborators we have had the pleasure of working with and we are thrilled to announce that his design for our sticker collaboration recently won a prestigious Copper Ingot Award at The AIGA 100 Show in Salt Lake City.
The AIGA 100 Show is a yearly competition that celebrates local design and illustration. A nationally-recognized panel of judges selects the showpieces and then awards Copper Ingot Awards to the top designs of the year.
Brett Ferrin has designed work for companies all over Utah and we were thrilled to get to work with him on our stickers and Givestock poster. Brett designed 3 unique stickers that we placed inside our sticker machines in stores across all 6 states we are located in.
"I've always loved how fun, playful and eccentric the Even Stevens brand is, so I really wanted to illustrate stickers that matched that fun energy. It's honestly been one of the most rewarding projects of my career. So many people have reached out to me via social media sharing the stickers they purchased. It's been so rewarding knowing something I designed is making someone's day a bit brighter. I love everything the Even Stevens company stands for, so it was a blast to get to collaborate with their team."
You can find a sticker at a store near you and purchase one for just a quarter! Collect all three designs and be sure to tag Brett (Instagram.com/brett.ferrin) and Even Stevens Sandwiches (Instagram.com/EvenStevensSandwiches) on Instagram.
If you are an SLC local, catch Brett Ferrin at the Craft Lake City DIY festival in August where he will be selling prints, stickers, pins, and shirts. Find more of Brett's work at http://brettferrin.com/.
