This past week we had the pleasure of attending a luncheon for all of our Arizona non-profit partners to get together hosted by St. Vincent De Paul of Phoenix. Over a tasty meal, each non-profit was able to meet and mingle as well as given the opportunity to stand up and speak about what they do. This lunch was awesome as it gave us and our partners the opportunity to discuss ways which we can better serve our community by working together to share resources and strategy.
Partners in attendance included St. Mary’s Food Bank, Sojourner Center, Friendly House, Operation Care Food Bank, Desert Mission Food Bank, Family Promise, A New Leaf: East Valley Men’s Center and Faith House, UMOM New Day Centers, St. Vincent De Paul, Native American Connections, Tempe Community Action Agency and Joshua Tree Feeding Program.
We were also surprised when Even Stevens was presented the Corporate Volunteer Award by St. Vincent “for demonstrating exemplary leadership, service excellence, and teamwork”. Thank you to our Arizona community for supporting us since we opened up our first restaurant in this market in October of 2016. We cannot wait to see not only our stores grow but the level of which we are helping impact social change in AZ communities.
Until next time AZ!
